Mr. Hudson 972-749-4100

Alex Hudson is honored to serve as Assistant Principal. He has been in education for 14 years, beginning his career as a math teacher for five years while also coaching basketball and football. From there, he served as a Math Instructional Coach before stepping into his first Assistant Principal role.

His journey has taken him through various leadership positions, including serving as Reset Coordinator and School Counselor for four years at Hillcrest High School. This is his third year back as an Assistant Principal, and throughout his career, he has remained committed to one belief: building strong relationships with students is the key to creating positive, successful schools. He truly believes that all students can learn and achieve success when given the right support and opportunities.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Education, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership, and a master’s degree in School Counseling. He grew up in the Dallas area and has been fortunate to work in schools that have shaped his career and passion for education. He began teaching at Cary Middle School before the tornado closure moved him to Medrano Junior High and later served at Hillcrest High School.

Outside of school, he enjoys working out, playing basketball, and spending time with his family. His wife, Allison, is also in education, and together they have three energetic boys. He looks forward to continuing to partner with staff, students, and families to ensure the school remains a place where every student can thrive.
